    About

The team roster came about through previously competing against each other and being brought
together for International matches. Each squad member can proudly state for the past 4 years,
they have been in the top two Icelandic sides called mod.ice and tct.
After Gamer LAN(February 2010) in Iceland we decided to unify these teams and create “tropa de leet”,
this has allowed us to progress much further and through unification, give 100% on our target of the Europe scene.
Our goal has always been to become an accomplished, respected team in the European community and
take part in LAN events outside Iceland.

    Tournaments

As a team we have take part in various of tournaments both offline and online.
Before we united into tropadeleet we(mod.ice and tct) had been dominating the Icelandic scene,
winning every offline tournament held in Iceland since 2008.
In January 2010 we took part in EMS S7. http://www.esl.eu/eu/ems/season7/css/news/141819
We did managed to get to the EPS Relegation tournament but lost against the finnish side Anexis eSports and ended up in 3rd
    place. http://www.esl.eu/nordic/pro-series/sea ... n/rankings

In October 2010 we went to DSRack in Denmark, before the LAN we took a 2 weeks boot camp
at ofvirkurs' home to prepare us for the LAN.
The groups system was 8 groups with 3 teams, we played two German teams mTw and SpeedLink and
    lost 17-13 http://www.cadred.org/News/Article/124861/ and 16-13 to them http://www.cadred.org/News/Article/124779/
then we faced the Danish team Dynamic in LB where we lost 16-12 http://www.cadred.org/News/Article/124937/
I can not say that we where pleased with those results, so close to a win.
But we were happy that we did manage to put ourselves on the map.

We picked up a new player after last LAN in Iceland(January 2011), Þorlákur Máni “furious” Dagbjartsson,
we wanted to get new blood in the team and start fresh on this new year,
He is a young and experienced player with lots of potential.

    Why organization?

Well, after tropadeleet was formed, the TwistedPlay Community asked us if we needed a home,
we accepted that gladly, we had already known the community for some time.
The problem with TwistedPlay was that it was more of a fun community with a bunch of players that do not take the game serious enough.
Eventually we left TwistedPlay because we felt like we needed to move on with our team and look for a profesional organization.
We want to present an organization that believes in us and shows us interest, we will give them back
dedication and a respect that shows them that we can proudly present them as a top organization.
We would be looking for lan support in the future.

We are looking forward to the year 2012 and we will be attending i45 together, as well as signing up for the upcoming CEVO tournament.
All of the Icelandic players are currently playing for the national team and we have won our first match against Team Poland 19-11. http://clanbase.ggl.com/news_league.php?lid=12508

    Hi Hanzer !

We apreciate your application, but as you may know, we released our old CS:S team due to lack of funds, this means we cant take any other team on board at the moment, as we simply lack the funds.

    Again, thanks for posting.
