Today the time has come to say goodbye to a good friend from Reason.CoD4, and welcome another at the same time. After an awesome performance at the recent CiC7 Lan we were hoping that the team could keep with the same lineup for the summer months, but alas real life has taken over and Tim "revoltz" Denton has had to step down from competitive gaming for now. With this departure we welcome back one of the games finest ever players in Jason "lookzor" Perez O'Connor, who will slot straight into the team alongside his brother.
The team knew about Tim's empending retirement long before CiC7, but it doesn't make the pill any easier to swallow, especially as everyone got along so well with him outside of the game. Jason is the perfect replacement though, as he has played with Soclon and D1ablo in previous teams, and is good friends with all the guys.
Statement from Tim "revoltz" Denton
Happy and sad. After playing so well at CiC7 I have decided to step down from gaming and hence the Reason CoD4 team. After joining in February last year from Infused I have had a fantastic time with great highs and some lows. The organization and players are the best I have had the pleasure to work with, special thanks goes to Ben who is more than just a manager in my eyes.
Knowing their replacement for me I have no fears that the team will move on from strength to strength, and with a busy season ahead I wish them all the best in the future. Final thanks go out to our two main sponsors, Razer and Sapphire, who have supported me completely to events across Europe for thirteen months – without them none of this would have been possible.

Just to get one thing out the way, "#eu1 is back". Greatful for #eu2 and #eu3 (aka vanner and soclon) to hold the fort while I was gone for so long, I'll greatfully take my spot back now. In all seriousness, it's great to be back after a 6 month inactive period where I've had other personal problems in my life which had to be sorted (mini lookzor). But hey I guess other members of the team could relate to this eh duff? ;) It's great to be back full of motivation and ready to win some lans!
I'm thanking Reason, dallow and the guys for taking me onboard and picking me up. Though they only did it cuz tim quit :P
Shoutouts to my girlfriend, family and everyone who encouraged me to get back into professional gaming. So that I may earn the
required income to allow our family to live the life of superstars. I'm almost in tears from this great opportunity, and I shall
grab it with every inch on my finger and hand :P
Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best; it removes all that is base. All men are afraid in battle. The coward is the one who lets his fear overcome his sense of duty. Duty is the essence of manhood.
Reason.CoD4 is now:
Christopher "Lighters" Lightburn Tom "D1ablo" Newman Ryan "Duffer" Duffy Danny "SoCLoN" Perez O'Connor Jason "lookzor" Perez O'Connor
You will see the team in action online and at the summer lans, first stop being Copenhagen for the Steelseries Challenge.
Girlfriend encouraging to play more ?! Lucky boy! Let's let her talk with mine then :/ (Or maybe that's only 'cause you add "professional" before "gaming"). Funny statement though :)
Anyway GL to both of ya and to Reason in the Future.
